DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION


Profound transformation programme putting in place a fully digital cross-agency operating system spanning three large central government organisations. 


We continually assured the programme architecture as it evolved during the Agile delivery of the programme and chairing the Programme’s Design Board and Technical Design Authority.

Technically the platform is a multi-tiered microservices platform delivered following an Agile Scrum approach heavily reliant upon Domain Driven Design.   

Services are constructed following a Command Query Responsibility Segregation/Event Sourcing (CQRS/ES) model and are realised using open-source frameworks and products. 

STRATEGIC REPROCUREMENT


Multi-disciplinary architecture team responsible for providing architectural leadership across a large central government programme spanning several years. 


The programme had objectives to deliver £110m of operating cost savings per annum by implementing a SIAM led service tower model.

Working closely with programme procurement and delivery teams, the wider client Technology function and across the organisation to provide architectural governance, assurance, and input to support the delivery of programme objectives

Provision of market and bidder engagement support through negotiations, workshops and market engagement sessions

Led the function through a period of sector leading levels of investment to deliver an annual capital plan in excess of £180m. 

Expanded the function to meet increasing level of demand to consist of 40 permenant colleagues and over 350 external associates based both in the UK and overseas

Leading the Delivery Shared Services function responsible for providing the services required to support project delivery across all lines of business. 


Services provided encompass Integration development, Database provisioning, Testing and test environments and Service Transition.
